About the Artist

Hello! I'm Darroh Sokolov. I'm a nonbinary illustrator, graphic designer, and writer who dabbles in videography, tattoo design, and oil painting. I graduated Emporia State University on May 2025 with a BFA, concentration in graphic design. I usually put my focus on post apocalypse and the topic of identity. I create characters for that I can express these with. My goal for my art journey is to become a tattoo artist and one day run my own tattoo parlor.

My art process relies heavily on anatomical accuracy plus rugged line work and shading to create comic-book-esque pieces. Most of my artwork is created using Procreate and Adobe Fresco on my iPad Pro.

What inspires me to create is the stories that I make in my head. I usually look to video games, books, graphic novels, and music, to guide my creative journey. Creating has changed my life for the better and I would never give it up for the world.
